Margot Robbie will earn about $50 million for starring in and producing the film, Variety reported. The film has grossed more than $1 billion at the global box office. The film — which grossed $160 million domestically during its opening weekend, according to Box Office Mojo — crossed the $1 billion mark at the box office earlier this month. That's good news for Margot Robbie, the film's star and producer, who is set to earn about $50 million in salary and box office bonuses, Variety reported, citing three individuals familiar with her deal. Greta Gerwig — the film's director and co-writer, who became the first woman filmmaker to solo-direct a $1 billion movie — will also receive bonuses due to the film's success, according to Variety.
